Deep Fantasy Surfing

“There’s something entrancing and addicting about these ten pieces of very minimalist pop. Not sure if it’s the blown out analog masters or the neutral but inviting drowned out vocals. In their best moments, surfing build beautifully around the most basic ideas. “Hit the Spot” revolves multiple verses and guitar riffs around a 5 second Kenny G loop, and “Killed A Man” is absolutely brilliant.
