Interpretations is the first 12-inch LP released on Norman Granz’s Norgran label (later to become Verve) in 1954. Recorded in July and August 1953 in Los Angeles, it features leader Getz with Teddy Kotick on bass, Frank Isola on drums, John Williams on piano and Bob Brookmeyer on trombone. The music flows unhurriedly and is as cool as it gets. This is vintage Getz of the highest calibre that will thrill all fans of cool jazz.
