This was the album that got me to finally understand Vocaloids. My take on Miku & Friends was that they were for producers who wanted to make music with female vocals without actually having to talk to a girl. But what you have here doesn’t really feel at all like it’s trying to approximate human singing; this is doing something completely different and utterly beguiling. – merton, RYM
